Manufacturing Process
Raw material preparation is the first step of production. We strictly select high-quality calcined petroleum coke, pitch coke and coal tar pitch, and conduct crushing and screening to process raw materials into qualified particle sizes.
In the mixing and kneading stage, aggregates and binders are blended in accurate ratios. The materials are kneaded under constant temperature to form well-proportioned anode paste with stable properties.
The qualified paste will go through vibration molding or extrusion to be shaped into regular blocks. This process guarantees high bulk density and uniform internal structure of finished products.
The formed green blocks are sent into ring furnaces for high temperature baking at about 1100 degrees Celsius. This procedure carbonizes the binder, removes volatile components and further enhances the overall strength and comprehensive performance of carbon anode blocks.
