Product detail
Wear Resistant High Alumina Plastic Refractory
Product Parameters

Refractory plastic is made of 70% – 80% granular and powder materials, 10% – 25% plastic clay and other adhesives, and an appropriate amount of plasticizer. It is an amorphous refractory material, mainly used for lining construction and repair of kilns. The fire resistance can reach 1750~1850 ℃
According to the type of refractory aggregate, it can be divided into clay, high alumina, mullite, corundum, chromium, silicon carbide, and zirconium containing refractory plastic materials. According to the type of bonding agent, it can be divided into aluminum sulfate, phosphoric acid, phosphate, water glass, resin, and other refractory plastic materials.
Refractory plastic features:
High fire resistance.
High plasticity.
Good thermal shock resistance, easy to construct.
High structural strength at medium temperature and high temperature.
Strong wear resistance.
Good resistance to rapid cooling and heating,
Low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation performance.
Long service life.
Refractory plastic applications:
Refractory plastic is suitable for various heating furnaces, soaking pits, annealing furnaces, hot blast furnaces, sintering furnaces, electric furnaces, etc. It can also be used for the furnace cover of small electric arc furnaces, burners of high-temperature furnaces, flue vaults, and other parts.
