Aluminate cement Calcium-Aluminate Binder, also known as refractory cement or high alumina cement, is a special type of cement that mainly contains calcium aluminate minerals as the main mineral phase and also contains a certain amount of silicate minerals.

Aluminate cement is widely used in various high-temperature and corrosion-resistant engineering fields due to its excellent properties. The main raw materials of aluminate cement include high-alumina ores (such as kaolin, mullite, etc.), limestone and bauxite. These raw materials are ground, mixed, calcined and ground to finally make aluminate cement. The main mineral phase in aluminate cement is calcium aluminate minerals, such as CA (3CaO·Al2O3) and CA2 (12CaO·7Al2O3).

Pure calcium aluminate binder for refractory materials is mainly used to replace refractory castables with a temperature of
1500-1800°C or even above 1800°C, especially low cement and ultra-low cement castables.
