Carbon Ramming Paste (Carbon Tamping Paste), also known as Thermal Paste, Cold Ramming Paste. It’s used in the Aluminium,Ferro Alloys,Industrial Silicon and Calcium Carbide Smelting Industry.
Carbon Ramming paste is a granular material that is used to ensure a good seal joints between the carbon blocks and in the peripheral seam.
The paste is produced from a mixture of different Carbonaceous material (Calcined Petroleum Coke, Calcined Anthracite Coal etc.) and Soft Pitch as Binder.
We manufacture both cold ramming paste and hot ramming paste with CPC/CAC Based.

Applications of Carbon Ramming Pastes
*Carbon ramming paste for aluminium industry
Ensure a good seal within the cathodes of the electrolytic cells used for reduction of alumina to aluminium.Avoiding metal leakage in aluminium electrolysis cells
*Carbon ramming paste for ferro-alloy industry
It’s used for lining submerged arc furnaces for production of ferro alloys. Pneumatic rammers are used during application to achieve a dense lining.
