Corundum Mullite Brick | High Temperature Resistant Refractory Brick for Industrial Furnace
Product Introduction
Corundum mullite brick is a high-grade composite refractory material made of high-purity alumina raw materials. It combines the high-temperature strength of corundum and the excellent thermal shock resistance of mullite, achieving perfect balance in high-temperature stability, anti-spalling performance and chemical corrosion resistance. With stable physical and chemical properties under long-term high-temperature operation, this series of refractory bricks is widely used in various industrial high-temperature kilns and furnace lining systems.
Different from ordinary mullite bricks and single corundum bricks, corundum mullite bricks have lower thermal expansion coefficient, stronger slag erosion resistance and higher load softening temperature. It effectively avoids cracking, peeling and deformation of furnace lining during frequent temperature changes, greatly extending the service life of industrial furnace equipment.
Key Features
1. Excellent high temperature performance The refractoriness can reach above 1790℃, with high load softening temperature and high temperature creep resistance. The brick body maintains stable structural strength under long-term continuous high-temperature working conditions, suitable for long-cycle industrial furnace production.
2. Outstanding thermal shock resistance Thanks to the stable mullite crystal structure, the product has low thermal expansion and strong resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heating. It is not easy to crack or peel under frequent temperature fluctuation, perfectly adapting to intermittent kiln working conditions.
3. Strong chemical stability and slag resistance Dense brick structure and low porosity effectively prevent the penetration of high-temperature flue gas, molten slag and corrosive substances. It has good erosion resistance against neutral and weak acid slag, and can resist chemical corrosion in complex industrial environments.
4. High mechanical strength and wear resistance High bulk density and cold crushing strength ensure excellent compression resistance and scouring resistance. It can withstand long-term airflow scouring and material friction inside the furnace, reducing lining wear and damage.
5. Stable quality and customizable specifications Support standard size supply and special-shaped customization such as wedge bricks, arch bricks and special kiln bricks. Multiple grades are available to meet different temperature zones and working condition requirements.
Application Scope
Corundum mullite bricks are widely used in high-temperature industrial furnaces in metallurgy, glass, chemical industry, ceramics, building materials and thermal energy industries. Typical application scenarios include hot blast stoves, heating furnaces, soaking pits, glass furnace regenerators, furnace crowns, high-temperature reactors, ceramic kilns and heat treatment furnaces. It is the ideal refractory lining material for medium and high temperature industrial equipment.
