Product Overview
Corundum mullite brick is a premium neutral refractory brick compounded by corundum phase and mullite phase, manufactured from high-purity raw materials through batching, moulding, high-pressure forming and ultra-high temperature sintering. It combines the excellent high-temperature hardness of corundum and the outstanding thermal shock stability of mullite, solving the common problems of cracking, peeling and creep deformation for furnace linings under long-term high temperature and frequent temperature fluctuation.
This refractory brick series has multiple grades according to Al₂O₃ content, widely customized for different working conditions. It can be produced as standard bricks, special-shaped bricks and precast blocks, meeting various lining construction requirements of high-temperature industrial furnaces.

1. Superior Thermal Shock Resistance
Thanks to the matched thermal expansion coefficient of corundum and mullite phases, corundum mullite brick can withstand repeated rapid heating and cooling cycles. It will not easily crack or peel under frequent furnace start-stop operation, greatly lowering maintenance frequency and downtime cost of kilns.
2. High Refractoriness & High Load Softening Temperature
The brick features high refractoriness above 1750℃ and high load softening temperature. It keeps stable mechanical strength under long-term high temperature and heavy load, resisting high-temperature softening and deformation. It can be directly used in flame contact zones of high-temperature furnaces.
3. Excellent Slag & Erosion Resistance
Dense microstructure and stable chemical composition enable it to resist erosion from alkaline slag, high-temperature flue gas and particle scouring. It has good chemical inertness under oxidizing, weak reducing atmosphere, suitable for complex harsh working environments.
4. Low High-Temperature Creep & Good Volume Stability
It shows extremely low creep rate under continuous high temperature load. The linear shrinkage or expansion is minimal after long-time service, which guarantees the integrity of furnace lining structure and avoids furnace wall collapse risks.
