High Alumina Brick
Product Parameters
Bricks with Alumina content up from 45%-95% and service temperature up to 1700C are classified to HIGH ALUMINA BRICKS.
High-alumina bricks are used in VOD , AOD, blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, electric furnaces, reverberatory furnaces, and rotary kiln linings. In addition, high-alumina bricks are widely used as checker bricks for converter regenerators, plugs in casting systems, and nozzle bricks.
Common brick shapes and customization options:
Standard bricks, wedge-shaped bricks, square bricks, curved bricks, anchor bricks, universal arch bricks, octagonal bricks, cast bricks, and irregularly shaped bricks customized according to customer drawings/samples.
Typical Applications
●Good for iron and steel making operation at the area of safety lining in ladle and EAF roof
