AZS Refractory Ramming Mass
AZS refractory ramming mix is mainly composed of fused zirconia-corundum aggregate, powder, binder, and additives. It is typically made by crushing fused zirconia-corundum bricks into particles of about 5mm as aggregate, and then mixing them with other auxiliary materials.

Product Features
High Refractoriness: Maximum service temperature up to 1650℃, maintaining stable structure and performance even at high temperatures.
Strong Erosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to molten glass corrosion. When in contact with alkaline molten glass, an aluminum-containing layer forms at the interface, with very low ZrO₂ dissolving into the molten glass, effectively inhibiting corrosion.
High Density: Bulk density ≥2.95g/cm³, low porosity, effectively preventing the intrusion of molten glass and metals.
Good Thermal Stability: Below 800℃, expansion increases regularly according to a coefficient less than that of AZS fused materials; at 800-1200℃, it exhibits good plasticity, allowing the entire bottom of the tank to be sintered into a sealed and indivisible whole.
Convenient Construction: During construction, add an appropriate amount of water according to the ratio, and after it reaches a moist and loose state, it can be tamped and shaped. No hazardous binders such as phosphoric acid are required, making it safer and more convenient.
