It boasts high refractoriness, excellent volume stability and superior resistance to acidic slag erosion. Widely used in coking, glassmaking, metallurgy and other high-temperature furnaces, it works reliably for long-term service under working temperatures ranging from 1400℃ to 1650℃.

Chemical Composition

Premium silica bricks have a silica content of 94% to 96% and minimal impurities, ensuring outstanding high-temperature performance. Its main mineral phases are tridymite and cristobalite, with a small amount of residual quartz. The stable crystal structure effectively prevents deformation and spalling during long-duration high-temperature operation.

Usage Guidelines

While silica bricks deliver excellent high-temperature performance, they have poor thermal shock resistance below 600℃. During furnace drying, heat the furnace slowly and evenly to avoid cracks caused by sharp temperature fluctuations. For masonry, please use dedicated silica refractory mortar to guarantee overall structural stability.
