Silica brickApplication fields of silica bricks is a typical acidic
refractory material with silica as the main component. It boasts high refractoriness, excellent volume stability and superior resistance to acidic slag erosion. Widely used in coking, glassmaking, metallurgy and other high-temperature furnaces, it works reliably for long-term service under working temperatures ranging from 1400℃ to 1650℃.

silica bricks have a silica content of 94% to 96% and minimal impurities, ensuring outstanding high-temperature performance. Its main mineral phases are tridymite and cristobalite, with a small amount of residual quartz. The stable crystal structure effectively prevents deformation and spalling during long-duration high-temperature operation.

Usage Guidelines
While silica bricks deliver excellent high-temperature performance, they have poor thermal shock resistance below 600℃. During furnace drying, heat the furnace slowly and evenly to avoid cracks caused by sharp temperature fluctuations. For masonry, please use dedicated silica refractory mortar to guarantee overall structural stability.
