High-Quality Fused Cast Zirconia-Corundum AZS Block for Glass Kiln
Fused cast AZS block, also known as fused zirconia-corundum refractory block, is the core lining material for modern glass melting furnaces. The abbreviation AZS derives from its main chemical composition: Alumina, Zirconia and Silica.
Produced via electro-fusion casting technology, raw materials are completely melted in electric arc furnaces at ultra-high temperature, poured into moulds and annealed under controlled conditions. This special manufacturing process creates a dense, low-porosity microstructure that cannot be achieved by conventional sintered refractory bricks.
We supply mainstream grades including AZS-33#, AZS-36# and AZS-41#. The figure represents the mass percentage of zirconia. Higher zirconia content brings stronger resistance against molten glass erosion.
